Nicole Skyer-Brandwene, MS, RPh, BCPS, CCP

Nicole is a pharmaceutical professional with over 25 years experience in the field. Her background is varied, with much time spent in her early career working in retail and long-term care pharmacy, both on the provider and the consultant side of practice. She sought out unique work opportunities where pharmacists were not commonplace such as an “in-house” pharmacy in a large long-term care health-system, leading projects at the HQSI, and teaching a pharmacy technician certificate course at a community college. Nicole believes that it’s important to stay connected to the prescription and patients — in some way. She enjoys preceptoring P4 Rutgers pharmacy students and helping pharmacy technician students get certified. She is most proud of the work has done with other pharmacy consultants to help facilities reduce the inappropriate use of antipsychotic medication.
