Janet Knoth, BS, RN, CHPN, CPHQ

Janet Knoth has been a quality improvement specialist at Healthcare Quality Strategies, Inc. (HQSI) since 2011 where she develops and plans methods for collaboration with healthcare providers in New Jersey to improve rates in national healthcare quality improvement projects identified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She also coordinates education programs for providers to promote quality improvement of home care, hospice, and nursing home projects including teleconferences, workshops, and symposia. Janet meets with facility and agency staff to provide group education or one-on-one guidance in quality improvement strategies and help analyze data, review quality improvement plans, and work with assigned teams to develop, implement, evaluate, and redirect HQSI interventions. She also acts as the Home Health Quality Improvement Network Co-coordinator to inform NJ providers of upcoming webinars, conference calls, and events and to provide information about release dates for best practice tools for home health providers.

Prior to joining HQSI, Janet was a registered nurse case manager for Meridian Home Hospice where she provided ongoing assessment of patient’s physical, functional, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and mentored new staff and presented education programs for certification of home health aides.
