Gail Bondar, MA, BSN, RN

Gail Bondar works on the Reducing Healthcare-Acquired Infections and Value-Based Purchasing projects under the 11SOW. In this capacity she works closely with hospitals and key partners such as APIC, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology as well as the New Jersey Hospital Association across New Jersey to develop, plan, and implement process changes that enhance patient care and improve quality improvement measures selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Previously, she served as Director of Medicare Review.

Gail joined HQSI in 2010, after a 30-year career at Princeton Healthcare System, at which she held a variety of positions including staff nurse, Nurse Manager of the Department of Pediatrics, Clinical Support Manager, and Nurse Manager on the Geriatric Unit. As a member of the Department of Performance Improvement she served as the liaison for numerous clinical departments, HQSI, The Joint Commission, and the NJDHSS, and was facilitator for system-wide Performance Improvement Priority Teams.
